"I kept noticing the same pattern all..."
I kept noticing the same pattern all day: every time I thought we’d found a quieter spot, it filled up again almost immediately. It was just way too packed for me to enjoy, and I felt uncomfortable most of the time.

"I was hoping to find some fresh..."
I was hoping to find some fresh dinner ideas but most of the recipes felt basic and a little boring. It just didn’t really give me much to work with.

"Nice market, but kind of what I expected"
I checked out tastefestivals.com before going to the artisan market, mostly to get a feel for what would be there. I’ll admit, I already had a feeling it might be a bit hit and miss, and that’s pretty much how it seemed on the day. Some of the stalls were genuinely lovely, and I did end up buying a few bits, but a lot of the prices felt a little steep for what you were getting. The layout info online could’ve been clearer too, since I wasn’t totally sure what to expect when I arrived. Overall it was a decent enough visit, but unless they added more variety, I’m not sure I’d be rushing back...

"I don’t know, maybe it was…"
I don’t know, maybe it was just me, but it felt really pricey for what you actually get. Once you add the tickets and all the little extras, the cost climbs fast, and I just didn’t feel like I got enough value out of it. It wasn’t a terrible experience or anything, but I left kind of wondering if I should’ve spent that money somewhere else. For the price, I expected a bit more.

"Finally, a festival with places to actually sit"
Went to Taste Festivals and okay, can I just say… why is decent seating so rare at events like this? But here, it was actually good. There were plenty of little rest areas around, so we weren’t stuck doing that awkward balancing act with food in one hand and a drink in the other. Being able to sit down between stalls made such a difference, especially once it got crowded. it made the whole day way more relaxed and comfortable.

"Fun tasting, just a little hit and miss"
I booked a drinks tasting and pairing experience through tastefestivals.com, and the site itself was straightforward to use. I didn’t have any issues finding what I wanted or getting it booked, so that part was all easy enough.
The tasting was definitely enjoyable, and I liked getting to try drinks I probably wouldn’t normally go for. Some of the pairings were really good, but a couple felt a bit random, if that makes sense, and I would’ve liked a bit more explanation around why they were chosen.

The staff were friendly and helpful, though the whole thing did feel slightly rushed in places. Overall, I’m glad I went and it wasn’t a bad experience, but for the price I was expecting it to feel a little more polished and organised.

"Umm, the stalls were okay but the info was lacking"
Some of the stalls were actually nice to look around, but umm, I was a bit disappointed that quite a few exhibitors couldn’t really answer basic questions about their own products

"Went with a couple of friends…"
Went with a couple of friends we had such a good time. The place had this nice buzz to it, busy enough to feel fun but not so packed that you couldn’t move, which is always a win. The music and entertainment kept the night rolling, and there was loads to wander around and look at… actually, we kept getting distracted by random little things along the way. It felt relaxed but still lively, if that makes sense. I’d definitely go again next year.

"Fun chef access, but payment made me uneasy"
I mostly went because I wanted to see the celebrity chefs, and that part was really good. I got closer than I thought I would, and the talks were actually fun to sit through. It did get crowded at times, but nothing too terrible. The only thing was after I paid, I started feeling a bit unsure because the follow-up details weren’t super clear, so I was kind of wondering if everything was legit until I got there. In the end it was worth going, though.

"Nice cultural mix, though it could use a little more variety"
I actually really enjoyed Taste Festivals. It had a good mix of food and styles from different cultures, and it didn’t feel like they were only sticking to the usual popular options, you know? The whole vibe was welcoming and natural, which I appreciated. That said, I did feel like some areas leaned a bit more toward certain regions, so maybe they could broaden it even more next time. Overall, it was a really nice experience, and I’d probably go again.

"Samples were okay, but it messed up my plans"
I grabbed some samples and they were decent enough, but there really weren’t many options available near me. I was hoping to try a few more and make a decision that day, but that kind of threw off my plans and left me a bit frustrated.

"I took these cooking classes a little while..."
I took these cooking classes a little while ago, and I mostly remember the good parts, picking up some handy kitchen basics and a few flavor tips I actually still use. A couple of sessions felt a bit rushed, though I’m fuzzy on which ones now. Overall, it was a really good experience and I’m glad I went.

"Toilets seemed to follow the same afternoon pattern"
The festival was decent overall, but I noticed the toilets started getting messy around the same point in the afternoon. It wasn’t awful or anything, just one of those things where you can see the pattern forming as the day gets busier. A few more checks or cleanups during peak times would’ve made a big difference.

"We wandered around for a bit…"
We wandered around for a bit and looked at a few different stalls before deciding what to try, since there were quite a lot of options. Ended up grabbing a few bits from different places, and everything tasted fresh. It was just a really easy, enjoyable place to eat with plenty to choose from

"Not as green as I expected"
I was a little disappointed by how much waste there was. I kept noticing overflowing trash bags and random cups and wrappers piling up, but then I’d look around for a recycling bin and there were barely any. Even the few bins I did spot weren’t very clearly labeled, which made it feel like recycling was more of an afterthought than an actual effort.

"Good chef demos, but it felt a bit rushed and crowded"
I mainly went for the chef demos, and they were good. A few of the chefs were really engaging and shared some handy little tips that I could actually see myself trying at home.
The downside was how quickly the area filled up. If you didn’t get there early, it was hard to see much, and I felt like I was constantly rushing from one spot to another just to get a decent view. The sound wasn’t always great either, which made it a bit frustrating at times.
Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but for the price I expected things to be organised a little better. I’m glad I went, but I left feeling like it could have been smoother. Three stars feels about right.

"So... I was looking at Taste Festivals for..."
So... I was looking at Taste Festivals for some sponsor activation ideas, it didn’t really grab me. The options felt a bit basic and not especially exciting from a brand perspective. I’m sure it could work for some sponsors, but I wouldn’t feel super confident putting budget behind it...

"Not really a kid-friendly spot"
We went as a family and, to be honest, there just wasn’t a whole lot for the kids to do. Some of the food stalls were nice, but the stuff that was meant to be family-friendly kinda felt like it was just put together last minute. My kids got bored really quickly, so we ended up leaving earlier than we planned. It might be better if you’re going with adults, but I probably wouldn’t hurry back with kids

"VIP lounge was definitely worth it"
I had a really good day at Taste Festivals, and the VIP lounge made a big difference. It was nice having somewhere comfortable to sit, the drinks came out quickly, and the staff were genuinely friendly. It also didn’t feel too packed, which I really appreciated. The only little hiccup was a bit of confusion getting in, which felt preventable, but overall I’m glad we went for the VIP option.

"Had such a fun time at this pasta..."
Had such a fun time at this pasta class. Its really hands on, I learnt loads without it feeling too serious, and we got to eat everything at the end. I left full and happy.
